• Fifty States Interviews (NEW INTERVIEWS TO COME!)

  Okay, so a few months ago I started this "Fifty States Interviews", but didn't continue on with it because of the lack of intrest from fellow Xangans, but I have about 300 more friends than I did a few months ago, so I figured maybe I'd get a better response this time. 

  What am I talking about?? Well, I am looking for fifty Xangans. One from each state ... make that forty Xangans (I already have ten interviews done). I'll arrange a time to interview each of these Xangans and then post the interview here on my page.   

  Why am I doing this? I think it's a great way to get to know fellow Xangans.  I'm sure you'll come across Xangans you never would have otherwise.

   

  If you're interested in being interviewed please leave your name and state in a comment below. I will reply as soon as possible.  Remember, I am only taking one person per state, so if you don't make the cut, I appologize.  Once I have finished all 50 states I'll be doing an interview for DC and Peurto Rico as well.

• Ask Steffy: Even More Questions

  These are some of my favorite questions that I've received from other users.

   

   

  Q: If you could make everyone in the world read three books, what would they be and why?

  A: There are so many good books out there that this is a hard decision.  Okay, so I'm going to list the first three books off of my favorite reads list: My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Piccoult, Night by Eli Wiesel, and Crank by Ellen Hopkins
  
  Q: If you could change your name, would you?

  A: I've actually been debating this for the past few months.  I am thinking of changing my middle name to May Jean after my grandmother, so my name would then be Stephanie May Jean instead of just Stephanie Jean.  I was named after my grandmother, and would like to have her full name.
  
  Q: If you magically turned into a man for a week what 10 things would you be sure to do?

  A: Okay here it goes:

  1. Pee standing up.
  2. Flash someone.
  3. Masturbate
  4. Have sex.
  5. Draw a smiley face on my penis so it looks like a cyclops!
  6. Wear boxers ... yeah I dunno it just seems like a manly thing to do.
  7. Attempt to pee sitting down.
  8. Do manly things like pick my nose and scratch my butt.
  9. Cross dress.
  10. Take lots of pictures of my manly self.
  
  Q: What do you want for Christmas?

  A: There are a few things I would like, but am not going to ask for.

  1. All three volumes of Girls With Sling Shots (check 'em here)
  2. A new camera.
  3. Xanga Lifetime
  4. A snuggie
  5. Fuzzy pink slippers
  6. The whole Harry Potter collection on DVD
  7. A guinea pig or a bird for a pet along with all of the stuff I need to take care of that pet for the next month or so. 8. A trip to Hawaii to see Robert ... my little sailor. <3 lol
  9. An autographed copy of the first Harry Potter
  10. A portrait of Marlynn Monroe.

  Q: FAVOURITE ICE CREAM?!?!?!

  A: I love Cold Stone's birthday cake batter mixed with gummy bears and reese's cups.

  Q: If you could only say seven words for the rest of your life (in a variety of different ways, of course), what would they be?

  A: I would rather not be able to talk at all than to be able to say only seven words.

  Q: Dear Steffyjean, I want to know if you had to pick one fast food restaurant to eat at for the rest of your life what would that be, and why?

  A: Hmm ... I think I would gain too much weight if I had to eat fast food for the rest of my life.  But I think I'd have to go with McDonald's. I just like their food.

  Q: What's the worse date you've been on?

  A: The first actual date I went on with my ex, Max.  We went out to eat, and then he took me home.  He complained about the way I was dressed the entire time we were out because apparently wearing a long tank with leggings and flip flops isn't date material. (I thought it was a cute outfit!) So, I dunno. It was a sucky date, and I just wanted to punch him in the face the whole time.  And all we did was go out to eat that's it. We didn't drive around town afterwards or go down by the lake or chill with friends. It was he picked me up, we ate, we left, he dropped me off.

  Q: Why did you join Xanga?

  A: About six years ago my then best friend had a Xanga and I had been using Live Journal and brave something or another.  Well, when she showed me Xanga I fell in love, and up until recently I was pretty much a personal blogger who only had like two or three regular readers and I rarely had comments.  Then I created simply_steffy and became pretty well known.  After deleting that account (for personal reasons) I created they_call_me_steffyjean.  This site brought in a ton of readers, and I'm glad to have come across some of the Xangans I've met on this site.  I will be a Xangalebrity on day! JUST YOU WATCH!

• Ask Steffy: A few interesting questions. :-)

  Q: So, if you walked in a room and you saw 2 deaf people going at it, how do you think it would sound?

  A: I think it would sound like a bunch of grunting noises ... something like you would hear at a zoo when monkeys are going at it. LOL

  Q: During World War II, women held the country together while the majority of the men went to war. They played major league baseball, worked factories & even signed up for the war effort in volunteer groups to help yet they didnt get recognized until 2009. Why do you think women are still being discriminated against even though it's clearly proven we work just as hard as men & deserve equal standing?

  A: It's a man's world. As simple as that.  I don't see the equality between men and women changing anytime soon. Sure things are better than they were a few decades ago, but I really don't see them improving. 

  Q: Who is your role model and why?

  A: I don't really have a role model.  I guess I just haven't found anyone that's worthy of living up to.

  Q: Who's your behavior with you friend?

  A: What's my behavior like with my friends?  Well, it really depends on which friends I'm hanging out with, but for the most part I am usually the semi-quiet one who kinda goes with the flow. 

  Q: How do you feeling when you are dating with g/friend?

  A: I'm not sure I really understand this question, so if someone could clarify it for me, that would be awesome.

  Q: What is your fav childhood memory?

  A: I have a few favorite memories.  The first is Christmas.  We always go to my grandparents (dad's side of family) on Christmas Eve around 6 pm for dinner, and growing up my parents would either tell us to go wait in the car while they were "getting ready" or Mom would pretend like she had to go to the bathroom and run back inside.  They would then arrange all of our Christmas presents, that Mom had managed to wrap without us even knowing she had them hidden in her bedroom, underneath the Christmas tree.  When we returned from my grandparents house there would be an empty plate of cookies and tons of presents under the tree.  And in the morning Mom would wake us all up and rush out side to see the "reindeer tracks" in the snow. My second favorite memory would probably have to be the first time I ever rode on the back of my dad's old Goldwing.  I just remember being scared as hell, but loving the feeling of the wind pressing up against my body and the churning of my stomach. My last fave is more of a chain of events, but I spent three years in a paramilitary program called Civil Air Patrol.  I loved it, for the most part anyhow.  I learned so much and met so many great people.  I think everyone should check it out: www.gocivilairpatrol.com

  Q: Fav thing to do?

  A: Hmm ... I enjoy cooking, baking, reading, writing, jamming out to no music at all, cuddling up with my kitties, and spending time with my family and friends. Wow, I feel like I'm filling out one of those online dating site questionares.

  Q: If you were given the choice to go sky-diving or go under on a sub which one would you choose??

  A: This is a really hard question to answer.  I am both afraid of hieghts and water.  But I enjoy flying.  Hmm ... I think I would have to choose being in a submarine.  That would be kind of awesome if I could look out a window of some sort to see what's going on around me, ya know?
